About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Unit based at Whakatane Hospital in a permanent part-time role working 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week).

This role offers the chance to work across a variety of general surgical specialties within a dynamic, high-performing team. You will contribute to the care of patients at different stages of their surgical journey, while continuing to grow your clinical expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About You

You are an adaptable, focused, and are eager to grow your surgical nursing practice. You value teamwork, take pride in your work, bring empathy and energy to every shift.

What you will bring:

Current NZNC registration and Annual Practicing Certificate
A minimum of 2 years experience in a surgical ward or similar setting
Strong cultural awareness and commitment to patient-centred care

The desire to keep learning and developing in your nursing career
