About the Role**

We’re looking for an experienced Trade Qualified Rope Access Technician to join the team at Off The Ledge in Auckland. You’ll use your trade skills at height to repair, seal, paint, inspect, and maintain buildings — all while suspended from ropes.

**Location:** Unit 5, 343 Church Street, Onehunga, Auckland — technicians will be required to report directly to site or to the office, depending on job scheduling.

**Hours:** Full-time, minimum 32 hours per week guaranteed (Monday to Friday, with optional Saturday work)

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Perform trade-based maintenance and repair work via rope access, including: Concrete and façade repairs, Sealant and joint application, Painting and coatings, Leak detection and water ingress remediation, Glazing and glass replacement, Building condition inspections and reporting
  • Maintain compliance with company and industry safety standards.
  • Complete accurate documentation, job reports, and safety forms.
  • Work collaboratively with your teammates to deliver high-quality results safely and efficiently.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
  • IRATA Level 2 or Level 3 Rope Access Certification (mandatory).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience performing trade work on rope (painting, sealant application, glazing, concrete repair, leak detection, inspection reporting, etc.).
  • Relevant trade experience (required).
  • Relevant trade qualification (advantageous but not essential).
  • New Zealand Driver Licence or equivalent (required).
  • Physically fit to perform rope access and trade tasks safely (ACC records may be requested).
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice and Police check, and pre-employment and ongoing drug testing.
