Diesel Mechanic - Auckland - ref. l8828819

We have two positions available for Diesel Mechanic.

Main duties:

You will play a key role in the on-going maintenance repair of trucks, trailers/ transporters and vehicle fleet; Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other parts; repair and replace parts; perform scheduled maintenance services, reassemble engines and parts; inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates and other reasonable duties within a diesel mechanic’s area of specialty.

Hourly rate range: $28 to $48

Minimum 30 hours per week

Work location: The job will be based in Auckland. It requires traveling to different work sites within Auckland.

Requirements:

Ideally 3 years work experience or relevant qualification; preferably communicate fluently in English because our customers mostly speak English; Drug free to ensure safety; Able to travel to different work sites within Auckland region
