We're now looking to expand our team with 6 experienced Metal Fabricators. If you're a motivated, skilled tradesperson ready for a new challenge in a modern workshop, we want to hear from you.________________________________________
Key Responsibilities:- Fabricating steel components in accordance with technical drawings and job specifications
- Operating CNC cutting machines, flame cutting torches, and other fabrication tools
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and site plans
- Measuring and marking out steel for accurate cutting and assembly
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with relevant standards
- Liaising with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines
- Performing physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and working at heights (with assistance from gantry cranes where needed)
- Maintaining workshop safety, cleanliness, and organisation

Requirements:- Proven experience (2 years minimum) in steel fabrication, profiling, or similar metalwork trades
- Ability to interpret construction and fabrication drawings accurately
- Familiarity with steel cutting and shaping processes
- Competence using a range of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Comfortable working at heights and in physically demanding environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit, dependable, and punctual
- Forklift licence an advantage (but not essential)
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand (citizen, resident, or valid visa)
