About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical & Automation Engineer with 2+ years of experience to support factory automation systems and electrical infrastructure within the food manufacturing process. You will work closely with an engineering team to maintain and improve automated machinery and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) that drive efficient and safe production.
This role also provides valuable exposure to capital projects upgrading equipment and systems in the facility.
Key Responsibilities- Support electrical and automation systems through installation, maintenance, operation, and upgrades.
- Assist with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and automation process support.
- Participate in capital investment projects ensuring compliance with technical standards.
- Prepare technical and user specifications.
- Maintain safety standards for personnel, processes, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot automation and MES issues in collaboration with production and quality teams.
- Coordinate and supervise work by electricians and contractors.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the factory.
- 2+ years experience in electrical or automation engineering, preferably in food manufacturing or a similar industrial environment.
- Relevant qualification in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
- Practical experience with automation equipment and MES is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in teams.
