Court Registry Support Officer, Tauranga District CourtPermanent Full Time Te Haeata/The OpportunityAs a Court Registry Support Officer, you will support the Court's day
-to-day operations by supporting the administration function and providing customer service.
Your day will involve engaging with our participants, including Lawyers, Judges, and the public
  • whether over the phone or face to face.

You will work closely with Court Registry Officers and support them while they take Court and manage case files.Day to day, your tasks will include but are not limited to:Providing timely and efficient customer serviceSupporting Judges and Court Registry Officers both in and out of the courtroomIntroducing Judges/Judicial Officers into court (in both English and Te Reo Māori)Support the jury service function and the jurors themselves for trial hearingsProviding general administrative support for Court Registry Officers, including photocopying, scanning, and filingManaging the incoming and outgoing mailManaging evidence exhibitsData entryProviding support and advice to our diverse customer base Ō pūkenga/Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will have proven customer service experience.

You will need to be confident, able to multitask, flexible and easily adapt to change.

You will also enjoy a challenge and be motivated to learn.

Utu ā-tau/SalaryThe remuneration band for this role is $55,343 to $74,416
  • the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
