At least two years of relevant work experience in a similar or related retail role.OR
A New Zealand Level 4 qualification or higher
Responsibilities for the position
The Retail Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail store to ensure smooth business performance and excellent customer service. Duties include:
Managing and supervising retail staff, including recruitment, training, and performance reviewsPlanning and coordinating store operations including rosters, inventory control.
Monitoring and analysing sales performance to meet targets
Maintaining merchandising standards and store presentation
Handling customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and legal retail obligations
Liaising with suppliers and coordinating product deliveries
Implementing promotional activities to boost sales
