Counterbalance Operator - Tuakau - Tokoroa

1. 50 per hour + 8% Holiday Pay

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team in Tuakau. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role involving work around live and raw poultry.

The role includes handling and moving crates, operating a forklift, and cleaning chicken crates using a water blaster. PPE gear will be provided. Candidates must have a positive attitude, be comfortable working in strong-smelling environments, and not afraid to get dirty or wet.

Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
• Move poultry crates and materials around the site
• Clean and maintain work areas using a water blaster
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Able to work full-time (minimum 40 hours per week)
• Physically fit and capable of manual work
• Comfortable working with live and raw poultry and strong odours
• Reliable and punctual with own transport
• Able to provide work references
• No criminal convictions and able to pass a drug test
• Positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable:

• Previous experience in poultry, meat processing, or a similar environment
