Operating in complex, multi-vendor environments, we focus on developing sustainable, future-ready capability within our digital delivery teams.The role | Te tūnga As a Senior Automation Test Analyst, you'll design, build, and maintain robust automated test solutions that support high-quality delivery across DIA's digital initiatives.
You'll provide technical leadership in automation testing, working closely with internal delivery teams and external vendors.Your work will span automated, integration, and performance testing, with a strong focus on embedding quality into CI/CD pipelines and strengthening governance and assurance.
You'll help shape reusable frameworks, uplift testing capability across the practice, and contribute to continuous improvement.An understanding of Artificial Intelligence in testing- including smarter automation, improved test coverage, and early risk identification, will support DIA's move toward more predictive, future-focused quality practices.What you bring | Nōu te rourou Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining automation test suites using C#/.NET or JavaExperience with Selenium, SpecFlow, NUnit, or similar automation frameworksProven testing experience across Dynamics 365, PowerApps, and integrated systemsExperience integrating automated and performance testing into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)Knowledge of performance testing planning, execution, and analysisFamiliarity with Azure Test Plans, defect management, and test reportingExperience working in complex or multi-vendor delivery environmentsUnderstanding of AI concepts and their application to modern testingStrong communication skills with the ability to mentor others and uplift capabilityAbility to manage competing priorities and perform under pressureFor you | Mōu At the Department of Internal Affairs, we are committed to offering a collaborative and innovative culture where your perspective and ideas will be welcomed.
