-centric, service-oriented strategy is committed to continuous enhancement throughout the service lifecycle.We are seeking an experienced Service Manager specialising in Information, Library, and Records Management to lead a cross-functional team in delivering products and services that advance business objectives and create value for our customers.The Manager- Information and Library Services, part of Shared Services service line, oversees common services across business units, focusing on information management and helping fulfil our obligations under the Public Records Act.You will collaborate with other managers to align priorities and leverage strengths within Digital, leading development and support of Information and Library Services in line with our Strategic Plan.As a member of the Chief Digital Officer's wider leadership team, you will have the opportunity to build a positive Digital culture that motivates and empowers Digital to be a high performing unified team.
Ō pūkenga/Skills and ExperienceNo candidate will meet every single desired qualification.If your experience looks a little different from what we have outlined and believe you can bring value to the role, we'd love to hear from you!To be successful in the role, you will have:A tertiary degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; and a commitment to ongoing professional developmentStrong people management experience leading technology professionals in large and complex organisations including:Leading a team in an Agile, Continuous Delivery and / or DevOps context, specifically in delivering services to support the Ministry's use of Microsoft 365 information management components.Good understanding of Microsoft IM products such as SharePoint and Purview.Experience in management of information assets, including governance of disposal actions, retention schedules, and the Information Asset Register, including oversight of library servicesWorkforce planning to enable effective and efficient delivery as well as coaching and mentoring of staffFinancial management of operational budgets.A sound understanding of the machinery of government, All of Government ICT management principles and offerings, and experience in Te Reo Māori would be advantageous.Experience in delivery or support of Information Management function is highly desirable.

Utu ā-tau/SalaryThe appointing salary for this role will be between $127,427- $176,789 based on skills and experience.
