Manly Park Kitchen (MPK) is an Artisan food style production facility located in Silverdale, North Auckland. We pride ourselves on producing tasty, healthy and interesting ready-made meals for distribution throughout New Zealand.
We are seeking a Shop Assistant/Administrator at our premises in Silverdale, Hibiscus Coast, Auckland. The hours will be Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm. The hourly rate is $25-$26 per hour.
The ideal person will have previous retail and administration experience. They will be excellent at exceeding customer expectations with an honest, friendly, can-do approach and an eye for detail, great at problem solving and getting the job done.

They will be methodical and work well in a team. FMCG experience would be advantageous.
This includes, but is not limited to:- Serving customers, and accepting payment
- Maintaining stock levels in the shop, packing shelves
- Managing online orders
- Administrative duties
- Arranging deliveries
- Helping in the kitchen and packing meals from time to time
- Liaising with kitchen and packing areas to ensure adequate supply of meals
- Retail shop experience
- Being able to communicate effectively
- Microsoft office products or similar capability
- A minimum of two years related experience
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Focused on delivering a positive and consistent customer experience
- Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to driving excellence and high standards in all areas of their work
- Must have a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
- Strong time management skills, meeting deadlines
- Current health & safety and food safety knowledge
- The ability to work under pressure yet still have an eye for consistency and detail, ensuring every meal meets our quality standards
