Join Our Growing Electrical Business – Part-Time Admin & Marketing Assistant

Ultraflex Electrical is looking for a reliable, tech-savvy, and friendly Admin & Marketing Assistant to support our small but growing electrical company. This is a flexible part-time role that would suit someone looking for variety—perfect for a return-to-work parent or anyone wanting meaningful part-time work with autonomy.

About the Role:

You’ll help keep the business running smoothly by supporting day-to-day admin, customer communication, bookings, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, respond to, and organise emails across multiple inboxes
  • Answer customer phone calls and manage bookings using our scheduling system
  • Light bookkeeping, including Xero reconciliation and invoice preparation
  • Assist with customer follow-ups, quote creation, and job tracking
  • Update our website, assist with social media, and support basic marketing
  • Maintain admin manuals and improve systems as we grow

You’ll work directly with the business owner and have the opportunity to make the role your own as the business develops.

You’ll Be a Good Fit If You:
  • Are confident on the phone and a great communicator
  • Have strong admin and computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Xero, etc.)
  • Are organised and self-motivated
  • Have experience in admin, customer service, or marketing (or are a fast learner)
  • Want flexible hours and value work/life balance

Experience with Fergus, Xero, Mailchimp, WordPress, or Canva is a plus, but not essential.

Hours & Flexibility:

10–20 hours per week, with flexibility, but must be available Monday mornings for phone calls. Please outline your ideal hours in your cover letter.

Our business hours are 8:00 - 4:30, Monday to Friday.

Remote working, with occasional in-person meetings (Mount Maunganui Area).
