Beauty Therapist

About the Role

Yuu Lash is seeking an experienced Beauty Therapist specialising in advanced eyelash and brow services to join our Onehunga mall - Auckland studio. This role requires strong precision skills, customised lash styling experience, and the ability to work with a variety of lash conditions and client preferences.

• Perform eyelash extension services including classic, hybrid, wispy, wet-look, anime, and volume lash sets
• Customise lash mapping and styling based on different eye shapes, natural lash density, and desired client outcomes
• Work with clients who have thin, sparse, short, sensitive, or dense natural lashes to create suitable lash designs
• Provide brow services including brow shaping, brow lamination, tinting, and cosmetic brow tattoo procedures
• Conduct client consultations and recommend suitable lash and brow styles
• Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and infection control standards for all beauty procedures and equipment
• Provide professional aftercare guidance to clients
• Maintain appointment records and ensure high customer service standards

Requirements

Applicants must meet ONE of the following:

• At least 2 years of relevant beauty industry experience

• A relevant qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 4 or above in Beauty Therapy or a related field

• Strong experience in customised lash design and lash mapping
• Experience with cosmetic brow tattoo procedures
• High attention to detail and precision work
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced salon environment
