You will be tasked with carrying out breakdowns, diagnostics and repairs on a large variety of faults, both mechanical and electrical.

• Maintain all vehicles to a roadworthy standard and ensure compliance with regulations
• Carry out vehicle and unit servicing in line with preventative maintenance schedules
• Respond to call-outs on a rostered basis
• Work with Operations Supervisors to plan vehicle maintenance
• Complete thorough technical inspections of vehicles
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs in job sheets and the in-cab Vehicle History File
• Manage workflow through the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Requisition parts and consumables as required
• Carry out daily checks of workshop tools and equipment to ensure they are serviceable and accounted for

**Qualifications** **Qualifications**

We’re looking for someone with:

• A Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate and proven experience in preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and truck repairs
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems diagnostics and maintenance, and/or automotive electrical/electronic fault diagnosis (preferred)
• Experience using CMMS systems
• A Class 4 Driver’s Licence (advantageous but not essential)

• Hours: 45 hours per week from 5:30AM to 3:00PM, Monday– Friday
