Bar manager
You will be required to work between minimum 30 hours to maximum 45 hours per week. You must be to work late evenings including weekends/public holidays. As the key contact with the customers, you will be tasked with creating memorable experiences through your top-notch service.
Job Responsibilities- Supervise and support staff in serving alcoholic beverages responsibly and courteously
- Ensure the bar area is always clean, well-organized, and presentable
- Deliver effective and friendly customer service in line with company standards
- Monitor staff performance and ensure financial and operational targets are met
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and inventory for smooth daily operations
- Manage inventory of beverages, garnishes, and bar supplies, ensuring proper storage and handling
- Monitor bar budgets, costs, and profitability while controlling waste, theft and over-pouring
- Lead the team to maintain company standards and a positive workplace culture.
- Handle staffing matters including recruitment, appraisals, training and development.
- Introduce new ideas to promote and maximise the profitability.
Ensure the venue is clean, stocked and ready for next day’s operation
Engage with customers to collect feedback and improve satisfaction.
Resolve guest complaints and customer issues professionally
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act, Food Safety and Hygiene Act and Employment Relations Act
Key requirements
To be successful you must have at least 2 years of industry experience or Level 5 or higher qualification in hospitality / business management
Manager Certificate is required
Physically fit, reliable and punctual
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Team player with a positive attitude
Clean Character background
Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and comply with all workplace policies.
Salary can be negotiated as per your proven experience level; it will range from $30 per hour to $35 per hour.
