Senior Kitchenhand/cook

Join this great team at Makahika outdoor pursuit centre just outside of Levin, for approx 8 weeks from 6 October to beginning of December. This is a fixed term opportunity.
The hours are 9:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday, 4 to 5 days a week. You'll be doing all things kitchen and preparing lunch and dinner for up to 100 guests each day.
You will need to have:
- previous kitchenhand or cook experience
- a current drivers licence and a vehicle to get you to and from work each day as there is no public transport to this location
- be able to follow instructions and follow recipes
- the ability to be on your feet all day
- a great attitude, ability to work quickly and collaboratively with the rest of the team members
- a good sense of humour and be able to enjoy a bit of banter
Good rate of pay and an extra hour each day paid for travel time.
