Crew Supervisor - Auckland

This isn’t a desk job you’ll be leading from the fast lane as a Crew Supervisor based at our Auckland North Silverdale branch. You’ll ensure we deliver great service through great crews, all underpinned by a strong focus on safety. Our crews are central to the success of both our business and our clients, and as a Crew Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in keeping them safe, connected, and ready for action, helping Traffic Safe remain a trusted partner dedicated to preventing accidents and fatalities on every job site.

Cones down, signs up, radios on! This is real-time Temporary Traffic Management where your leadership, safety focus, and decision-making matter.

• Oversee the daily delivery of Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) services
• Briefing, preparing, and supporting crews before each shift.
• Scheduling and delivering inductions & on the job training.
• Visiting job sites to conduct audits, ensure compliance, and champion Health & Safety initiatives.
• Assisting with administration tasks, client communication, risk assessments, and resource scheduling.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and alignment with Traffic Management Plans (TMPs).
• Maintaining accurate records of training, compliance, fleet checks, and operational activities.
• Delivering toolbox talks and supporting the operations team with resource planning.
• Stepping in to provide operational backup cover when needed.

This is a full time role averaging 50 hours per week, with on call responsibilities when required.

• A solid background in temporary traffic management
• Confident in overseeing & training crews in fast-paced, safety-critical environments
• Clear, professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Solid understanding of health, safety and compliance standards
• STMS Practicing Qualification
• Must hold a NZ FULL class 1 drivers licence (Bonus: if you have Class 2)
• Physically fit and comfortable with active, hands-on work.
