Retail Manager - Full Time - Christchurch

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day store operations
• Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
• Develop and implement in-store promotions and pricing strategies
• Train, roster, and supervise retail staff
• Monitor sales performance and ensure store targets are met
• Ensure health and safety, food safety, compliance
• Prepare basic sales and stock reports to assist in store decision-making

Minimum Requirements:

• Either a Level 5 (or higher) qualification in retail/business management/marketing OR at least 3 years of relevant experience in a retail management role
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Experience in supervising a team and managing stock
• Leadership and people management skills
• Fluent English (speaking and reading)

Advantages if you have:

• Knowledge of Asian grocery products
• Mandarin speaking and reading proficiency is preferred but not required
