About the Role:
As a Complex Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in transforming lives—providing tailored, one-on-one support that empowers our clients to live as independently and fully as possible.

Through close collaboration with each individual, you'll develop and deliver personalized care plans that address their unique physical, emotional, and social needs. Your dedication will not only enhance their daily living but also promote dignity, confidence, and overall well-being—helping them thrive every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor client progress and provide timely updates
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and hygiene
  • Provide support with toileting and bowel management
  • Aid clients with mobility and the use of assistive equipment
  • Assist clients in managing their medication regimen
  • Encourage and support clients in maintaining their independence
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records while ensuring effective communication with the care team
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and their families
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication for clients with diverse needs

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong passion for empowering clients to live fulfilling and independent lives
  • At least 6 months of professional experience in complex care
  • Level 4 Healthcare qualification or equivalent (preferred)
  • Self-motivated, dependable, adaptable, and punctual
  • Culturally aware with sensitivity to diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent communication skills, with a high proficiency in English
  • A valid NZ driver's license and the ability to travel across the Bay of Plenty
  • Experience in bowel care and a willingness to assist with physiotherapy exercises
  • Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends
