You will act as a resource and provide advice for Health NZ Waitematā in relation to Point of Care. You will also be responsible for the oversight of the Real Time Temperature Monitoring System, which monitors all temperature sensitive storage areas for Waitematā sites.

It has the largest population of any district health area.For more information on living and working in Waitematā District, click here.About youTo be eligible for this role, you will have:registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with a current annual practising certificate issued by the NZMSCa minimum of five years’ hospital laboratory experience (or similar), with leadership responsibilitya demonstrated understanding and involvement in maintaining quality standards in particular ISO 15189:2022excellent written, spoken communication skillsprevious responsibility for training and documentation writingunderstanding and experience with analyser connections, middleware, patient result reporting and troubleshootingsolid budget knowledge an understanding of the direction and benefits of Point of CareWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
