It involves operational leadership, resource utilisation, and coordinating programme planning, delivery, evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and reporting across various programme areas.
The people and performance responsibilities of the role work in collaboration with the technical and professional responsibilities of other regional and local roles such as Senior Advisors/Officers, Regional Development and Delivery Leads, and relevant professional leadership roles.The Team Lead role may also deliver operational work and have responsibility for work programme(s) relevant to their professional skill set (depending on the size of the team they are responsible for).About the Team/Service/ LocationThe National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand

  • Public Health Communicable DiseasesCompliance OfficerSkills and ExperienceTertiary qualification/degree in Public Health or a related field or equivalent experienceProven experience in team leadership and management, preferably in a public health context3-5 years' experience in a public health service delivery roleExperience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in actionWillingness to travel across the regionFull New Zealand Drivers' LicenceWillingness to travel as requiredWorking for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
