Burn Cottage Vineyard is currently seeking a Vineyard Supervisor to join our permanent team at our Cromwell Vineyards.

Burn Cottage is a small and intensively run vineyard and winery operation utilising organic and biodynamic farming practices. We primarily produce premium Pinot Noir on three sites, along with a small quantity of Riesling and Grüner Veltliner.

This position is part of a small team, providing exposure to all aspects of our viticulture and biodynamic practices.

Skills required:

• Some Tertiary Training in Viticulture and Practical Vineyard experience.
• An interest in organics, biodynamics, or a willingness to learn these.
• Good communication and the ability to work with and instruct a varied team.
• Motivated and with a positive attitude in our team environment.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Fit to work in an environment with a range of terrain (sloped hillside and flats.)
• Tractor and machinery experience is an advantage.

A New Zealand resident or hold a current New Zealand work Visa.
