SOUTH ISLAND BASED ROLES

Platinum Recruitment are excited to be able to present multiple opportunities for Line Mechanics & Cable Jointers across the South Island in most of the major centers and some rural areas. If you are looking to make the move south and are a qualified, registered Linesman, Electrical Fitter or Cable Jointer, this could be the move for you.

Responsibilities include:

erect or replace power poles
string cables between poles, pylons and buildings
test lines & circuits
locate & repair faults
repair & replace cables
install electricity transformers
connect equipment to an electric network

To be successful you will need: Full EWRB registration - current practicing license

Knowledge of electrical theory, mechanics & wiring systems used in communication or electrical networks in NZ
Enjoy working outdoors
NZ Work Visa
Experience of Live-line and Glove and Barrier work is beneficial
