Relief Teachers (Qualified and Unqualified)

We are excited to welcome either qualified, unqualified or in training teachers to join our Seedlings team as relievers. No matter what stage of your teaching career you are at we would be keen to hear from you.

Obviously, this type of work can often be at short notice, and it would be across both of our two centres located in Halswell. This does however mean that you can choose your hours of availability and allow yourself the flexibility that we sometimes need in our busy working lives!

Seedlings is proudly owned and operated by two Directors who are both fully certified and experienced ECE leaders, who are committed to the important role that we play in our community.

We have a strong team of experienced Kaiako who do what they love and love what they do! We pride ourselves on the fact that we all have shared values, which in turn supports a positive professional culture. A culture that demonstrates gratitude and kindness.

Our centres are well resourced with a strong emphasis on the provision of a natural and purposeful learning environment with strong links to the Reggio and RIE Philosophies.

We are possibly somewhat biased and think that our tamariki are some of the most fun-loving children to teach. There is such a love of learning and enquiry that happens here at Seedlings.

The hours of work are variable depending on your flexibility and the needs of our two centres.
