We are looking for a certified and experienced asbestos removalist in the Palmerston North region. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient removal of asbestos-containing materials from a variety of buildings and structures.

What you'll be doing

Carefully and thoroughly removing asbestos-containing materials from a wide range of commercial, industrial and residential properties.
Transporting and disposing of asbestos waste in accordance with all relevant environmental regulations and legislation.
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment throughout the removal process.
Documenting all asbestos removal activities and providing detailed reports to clients.
Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth and successful project delivery.
Adhering to all health and safety protocols and wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

What we're looking for

Proven experience as an asbestos removalist or in a similar construction/trades role.
Excellent knowledge of asbestos removal techniques and safety procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Has their own fitted mask.
Current asbestos removal certification and a valid driver's licence.
