We're searching for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to keep our cutting-edge nursery facility running like a well-oiled machine!
This is your chance to be a vital part of a dedicated team taking charge of all plant, machinery, and infrastructure to ensure everything operates smoothly in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
We're seeking a qualified engineer with fitter turner expertise and practical manufacturing experience. If you thrive on problem-solving and enjoy tackling challenges head-on, this role is tailor-made for you. What you will be doing:
- Hands-on work alongside a small maintenance team - including preventative maintenance, breakdowns, new installations, and compliance testing
- Keep our water systems, boiler, PRIVA climate controls, production shed equipment and security systems operating smoothly
- Partake in the after-hour monitoring of the boiler, environment control and security systems on a rotational roster basis
- Partake in the after-hours on-call maintenance roster (1 in 3 weekends)

Sounds good so far, here's what we need:
- Engineering Apprenticeship (Fitter & Turner, Fitter or Toolmaker) preferably with advanced trade or equivalent
- 4-5 years' practical Engineering in-house experience in a manufacturing environment
- Electrical capability preferred
- Ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure
- Flexibility to be on-call for some evenings & weekends
- Keen to work extra hours during peak season (Sept-Dec)
