WTR Operator
We’re seeking a skilled and motivated operator to join a well-established civil crew delivering infrastructure projects across the region.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely alongside the Foreman, operating machinery while also supporting day-to-day site operations. If you enjoy a mix of machine operating and practical site work, and want to be part of a tight-knit team with long-term opportunities, this could be the role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing- Operating WTR machinery confidently and safely across civil projects
- Assisting with site preparation, trenching, backfilling, grading, and general earthworks
- Supporting the Foreman with site set-up, pack-down, and daily operations
- Jumping on the tools and helping with physical labouring tasks when required
- Maintaining health and safety standards on-site at all times
- Local work – be home every night

Days & Hours
Typically Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 6:00pm, with half days on Saturdays when required.
Flexibility is important, as hours may vary depending on project demands and weather conditions.
What We’re Looking For- Current WTR endorsements (essential)
- Full Class 1 licence highly beneficial
- Experience operating machinery such as diggers, rollers, loaders, or similar civil equipment
- Physically fit and willing to assist with hands-on labouring work
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety focused
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice check
