- About the Role: The Customer, Design and Innovation (CDI) Branch is a centre of expertise within MBIE, delivering high-impact, customer-centric solutions across Te Whakatairanga Service Delivery (TWSD).

As a Senior Programme Coordinator, you'll be a key member of the Operations Portfolio Office within the Business Operations unit.You'll provide expert support to Programme Managers across TWSD's strategic programmes, ensuring smooth delivery and alignment with organisational goals.
Your responsibilities will include:• Advising on and developing programme and project processes- Monitoring progress and reporting on deliverables
- Managing communications and stakeholder engagement
- Supporting project management and team administration
- Building strong relationships across MBIE and with external partners Ngā pukenga me ngā wheako e hiahiatia ana
- Skills and Experience Required
- At least 5+ years' proven experience in Portfolio and/or Programme Management support• Strong knowledge of planning, tracking, quality assurance, change control, and reporting
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and influencing across diverse groups
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- A collaborative, customer-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- Experience working in fast-paced, complex environments
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar)
- Relevant qualifications in project or programme management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or similar) are desirable
- Volunteer or community experience that demonstrates leadership, coordination, or stakeholder engagement is highly valued Additional Requirements:• You must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
- This role may be subject to a New Zealand Government security clearance.
