Consultation and Advice: Discussing client needs, analysing skin characteristics (type, condition, concerns), and advising on suitable skin care, treatments, and the correct application of make-up.
Make-up Application: Applying general cosmetic and corrective make-up for various occasions and purposes.
Hand and Foot Treatments: Performing manicures and pedicures, which includes nail shaping, cuticle care, hand and foot massage, and applying standard or specialised polish. This also covers decorative nail art, the application of artificial nails (e.g., acrylic or gel), nail repair, and other specialised hand and foot treatments (e.g., paraffin wax or exfoliation).
Facial and Body Treatments: Providing a range of treatments such as facials tailored to different skin types, and body treatments including various massages (e.g., relaxation, hot stone, or therapeutic).Hair Removal and Enhancement: Treating unwanted hair through methods like waxing, depilation (creams), and electrolysis. Additionally, performing hair treatments such as bleaching or tinting of eyebrows and eyelashes.
Evaluation: Evaluating beauty therapy processes and products to ensure quality and efficacy for clients.
Administrative and Sales Duties
Client Management: Receiving bookings, arranging and confirming appointments, and accurately maintaining client records (treatment history, contraindications, and preferences).Retail and Sales: Providing advice on and actively selling cosmetic products, skin care ranges, and other retail items available in the salon or clinic. This involves product knowledge and making recommendations suited to the client's needs.added soon
Full time job minimum 30 hours per weekPay rate $25 -$30.00 per hour.
