Contract: Casual - up to 40 hours per week

Salary: MECA Step 1-5 or $59,024 - $74,442

About the Role

The Mental Health, Addictions and Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS) has vacancies in our Casual Pool for Mental Health Support Workers mainly based in inpatient units and community settings. The role is part of the MHAIDS Operations Centre, which covers the Wellington, Kapiti, Porirua and Hutt Valley areas

About you

Describe the experience and professional requirements needed in the role - brief sentences in 3-5 bullet points.
  • Have a Level 4 National Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions Support Work (or equivalent qualification)
  • Have experience working within the area of mental health, preferably in an inpatient setting
  • Hold a current work visa or have the legal right to work in New Zealand
  • Demonstrate an ability to work with a team with a multi-disciplinary approach
  • Clean Drivers Licence
  • Consent to a Police Vetting Check under the Vulnerable Children - s Act 2014
