>>>This role involves a lively mix of Dental Assisting and Dental Reception.- Normal Weekly Part Time Hrs: 24 (3 day position, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday).
- Competitive commencing rate: $35 per/hr
-> Key Clinical Duties, including but not limited to:
Assisting Dentist or Hygienist in treatment services
Supporting Patient safety, comfort, dignity and morale
Cross infection control (eg. zoning; disinfection (surfaces, low risk items;) sterilisation, cycle tracking and batch logging; disposal of single use items; proper use of PPE; routine hand hygiene practices, and so on)
Accurate recording of Patient chartings and clinical notes during sessions
Operating and maintaining dental equipment
Oral health promotion (sharing general concepts)
Stock maintenance (tracking and reordering, as authorised)
Post-treatment instructions and follow-up calls to Patients.
-> Key Reception Duties, including but not limited to:
Warmly welcoming all practice visitors
Practice building: maintaining relationships of trust and confidence; supporting Patient morale and dignity; using best endeavour to further the practice’s reputation
Fielding enquiries and actioning requests promptly and reliably (face-to-face, via phone or email)
Appointment management
Payment processing
General reception, office admin and house keeping
Reliably coordinating lab work (dispatch and arrivals)
Liaising with Specialist practices to schedule appointments and ensure referrals sent on time.

Current CPR certificate (or willingness to complete course)

Great Teeth Dental Care is a well established and respected privately owned dental practice in Wellington and we use the latest treatment methods and equipment, including in-house CEREC CAD/CAM 1-visit crowns, bridges and implant crowns (including Zirconia), orthodonotic aligners, guided implant surgery, digital radiography and 3D scanning, cosmetic makeovers and advanced restorative including full mouth rehabilitations, plus of course basic dentistry!
