Project Manager - Civil Construction - Te Aroha

J Swap is a large family based company that has operated from Matamata for over 80 years. The business involves Civil Construction, Quarrying, Bulk Transport, and Bulk Storage.

The J Swap Civil division employs around 100 staff on various projects throughout the Waikato and Bay of Plenty. Staff have access to a wide range of good quality plant and equipment and take pride in quality work.

J Swap seek a hands-on project manager with New Zealand experience in civil construction. This role is based at Matamata and reports directly to the General Manager.

In an ideal world you:

• will have managed green-field subdivision development from the breaking ground through to the final walk over for council sign off
• have an eye for detail and work well with design consultants and council inspectors
• have hands-on experience in the construction phase of civil works
• are adaptable to a range of other civil construction projects such as road rehabilitations, site works and infrastructure projects.

Experience with 3 waters and service provider installations would be of benefit.

While engineering qualifications are of benefit, what matters most to J Swap is your practical experience, not your job title.
