Weekend Hospital Role

Allied Security is looking for a mature, sociable individual to join our team as a Security Officer. The role is based in a healthcare environment, so compassion, patience, and professionalism are essential.

You’ll be working alongside others to create and maintain a safe and respectful environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Shift Times: 5:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Additional Work: Optional extra shifts available at Ashburton Hospital and other sites in Ashburton and surrounding areas

You’ll be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. Key duties include:

• Challenging unauthorized behavior
• Providing a visible and reassuring presence
• Assisting with public/customer queries

• Managing access control

• A calm, professional, and rational mindset
• Good physical fitness

• Friendly, personable, and approachable
• Honest, attentive, and reliable
• Strong communication and written reporting skills

Experience: Prior experience in security is desirable but not essential

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and be able to obtain a COA (Certificate or Approval)
