We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated role models who are keen to make a positive difference to the tamariki and rangatahi we support in our residential and community services.The young people we support may experience significant obstacles in their lives, which at times requires a trauma informed approach. So as a Youth Support Worker, you would be a role model and mentor, helping youth to build self-esteem, resilience and confidence, alongside encouraging meaningful opportunities within their community.
This is an opportunity to make a real difference in shaping a young person’s life, fostering emotional and social development and guiding them through the complexities of adolescence. A good understanding of Positive Behaviour Support is desirable along with relevant Health and Wellbeing qualifications.

Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at our cost)
Hold a full current NZ Driver License (Essential)
Be eligible to work in New Zealand
Have a valid work or student visa with a minimum of 12 months until expiry
Availability across all shifts
