About the role | He korero whakamarama mo tenei turanga

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated role models who are keen to make a positive difference to the tamariki and rangatahi we support in our residential and community services.

The young people we support may experience significant obstacles in their lives, which at times requires a trauma informed approach. So as a Youth Support Worker, you would be a role model and mentor, helping youth to build self-esteem, resilience and confidence, alongside encouraging meaningful opportunities within their community.

This is an opportunity to make a real difference in shaping a young person’s life, fostering emotional and social development and guiding them through the complexities of adolescence. A good understanding of Positive Behaviour Support is desirable along with relevant Health and Wellbeing qualifications.

Our Support Workers uphold CCT values of Respect (Whakaute), Reliability (Pono), Transparency (Puataata) and Responsiveness (Whakautu)
