The Role

As our next Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you’ll:

• Perform general and preventive maintenance on a variety of heavy automotive vehicles
• Diagnose and repair breakdowns efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime
• Inspect, identify defects, and report on asset performance to improve reliability
• Lead on scheduled servicing and safety-critical checks
• Share after-hours call-out duties on a rotational basis (with generous overtime rates)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 7 am–4:30 pm

Location: Fully equipped workshop in Otahuhu

• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty diesel engines and drivetrains
• Strong fault-finding skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Current Class 2 driver’s licence (Class 4 desirable)
• Self-motivated mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
