Te Roroa Social Development (TRSD) is seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader to guide our Te Toa Whenua (TTW) programme, focused on ecological restoration and environmental management across 900 hectares of whenua returned through the Treaty of Waitangi Settlement.

As Team Leader, you will- Lead and support Pest Control and Nursery teams
- Oversee planning and delivery of environmental projects
- Manage stakeholder relationships and funding applications
- Ensure effective reporting, budgeting, and contract management
- Champion Te Ao Maori values and sustainable practices
- Proven leadership and project management experience
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Knowledge of environmental management and restoration
- Experience working with iwi, hapu, and Maori communities
- Understanding of Health & Safety and financial processes
- A full NZ Driver’s Licence (Te Reo Maori proficiency is a bonus!)
