Benchmark Survey Group is a well established Land Surveying company operating across Auckland and the Bay of Plenty. We provide specialist survey support for a diverse range of projects.
We are seeking the services of Site Surveyors and Survey Technicians to join our survey team.
The position would ideally suit someone with at least 2 years’ experience in land surveying.- Essential Criteria:
Minimum 2 years’ experience
Demonstrated experience/competence in surveying
Strong commitment to safety
Energetic and enthusiastic work ethic
Positive attitude
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
Hold a valid Car Driver License
Respect for surveying equipment
Show initiative to learn and progress your career
- Roles and Responsibilities:
Setout and as-built surveys of civil, engineering construction works.
End of month quantity surveys and calculations for client progress claims
Fly drone for aerial data capture
Operate 3d laser scanner
Carry out control surveys using a variety of techniques including digital levelling, total station, RTK & Static GNSS methods- Desired Criteria:
Proficient with Autodesk and/or 12D software
Competent with Trimble GPS and Robotic Total Stations
Competent with Trimble Business Center
Competent with Photogrammetry, lidar and point cloud processing
Experience with machine control file management and troubleshooting
