As the authorized service agent for the manufacturer, you will also perform pre-delivery services, warranty repairs and execute upgrade programmes. We will rely on your flexibility as you contribute to the development of our growing company and to the many tasks to support the establishment or our new premises.
While you will be work out of our site in the Mangare area, you will also travel to customer sites in the Auckland area and develop constructive relationships with their technicians and operations staff. From time to time, you will be asked to travel nationally, and possibly internationally.
To make sure your work counts and to help contribute to the knowledge of our products, you will fully document repairs and any defect reports, and requisition parts using established processes and systems. You will also maintain effective relationships with your colleagues and manufacturer representatives.
We envision you will be a qualified heavy vehicle mechanic, qualified heavy vehicle diesel mechanic, or a qualified electric vehicle technician. You will follow safe practices and hold at least a Class 2 driver's license with a clean driving record (Class 4 preferred).You will need the ability to perform physical duties required for Heavy vehicle servicing safely and need to have sufficient communication skills to communicate clearly orally and in writing.
