• Providing essential laboratory expertise as part of an after-hours rosterMultidisciplinary collaboration
• Participating in meetings with the Christchurch Transplant team and local multi-disciplinary meetingsBleeding centre
• Supporting care and management for bleeding disorders within our dedicated centreOutreach clinics
• Conducting regular outreach clinics in Invercargill and supporting patients across the wider Southern regionTeaching and mentorship:Working with fifth-year and pre-intern medical students from the University of OtagoMentoring basic and advanced trainees, as well as house officersResearch and quality improvement:Contributing to an active trials division and the department's quality and safety programOpportunities for leadership within the department and the wider hospital settingThis role offers the chance to make a significant impact in a supportive and dynamic team, with opportunities for professional growth.About youWe are looking for someone with a strong background in clinical and laboratory haematology.
