Senior Advisor - Pacific Disaster Risk Management Programme (Project Management)Term: 24 months (Fixed-term or Secondment) Location: Wellington-based OnlyLead programme delivery that strengthens resilience and emergency management capability across the region.Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this roleWe're looking for a Programme Manager to manage and drive the Disaster Risk Management Programme.

This role is all about making things happen-coordinating projects, managing budgets, and ensuring deliverables are met. You'll work closely with technical experts, government agencies, and international partners to keep projects on track and outcomes delivered.What you'll do:Oversee programme planning, governance, and reportingManage contracts, budgets, and procurement in line with government standardsBuild strong relationships with stakeholders and lead engagement activitiesSupport continuous improvement and monitoring across the programmeRepresent NEMA in key forums and contribute to emergency readinessDue to the nature of our role in Emergency Management, NEMA has a very dynamic work environment and as a small agency, staff are often required to pivot and change focus on their work at short notice.
