We make things with plastic. Acrylic, polycarbonate, PVC — cut, shaped, and fabricated for trade and retail customers across New Zealand. We’ve been doing it for years and we’re good at it.
What we don’t have is someone who can grow our online presence, run our digital marketing, use AI tools properly, and make our customers feel genuinely looked after. That’s the gap this role fills.
What you’ll be doing- Managing our websites — cambrianplastics.co.nz plus three other properties — content, SEO, keeping things current
- Running Google Ads and our Trade Me store
- Managing social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) — posting, engaging, building an audience
- Using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT or similar) every day to create content, research, and find opportunities faster
- Creating the voice customers hear — phone, email, walk-in — and making that count
- Reporting on what’s working and what isn’t, and changing course accordingly
- Real, hands-on digital marketing experience — websites, Google Ads, social, email. Show us what you’ve done.
- You actually use AI tools in your day-to-day work. Not dabbled. Actually use them.
- You’re good with people. Customers like dealing with you and you take that seriously.
- You’re self-directed. You don’t need to be told what to post next week.
- Curious about how things are made. You don’t need to be a plastics expert — but you need to want to learn.

You’ll report to our Office Manager and work alongside a small, tight team. We’re a lean manufacturer — no layers, no politics. You’ll see the impact of your work directly.
We’ll give you a proper induction, budget for the tools you need, and the freedom to do the job properly.
