The Brand
Tuesday Label is a New Zealand fashion label celebrated for its elevated, feminine aesthetic and loyal following. Our Ponsonby flagship is our brand home — a space where product, people, and experience come together. We're growing, and we're doing so with intention.
The Role
Reporting directly to the founders, you'll take ownership of our flagship store — from delivering an exceptional client experience on the shop floor to fostering a strong team culture behind the scenes. This role is ideal for someone who leads with warmth, thinks commercially, and brings a sense of style and service.
You'll work regular business hours, with some flexibility during key trading periods. We respect your time outside of work just as much as we value your expertise within it.
What You'll Do- Own the client experience, cultivating meaningful relationships and ensuring every visit to Tuesday Label feels personal and memorable.
- Employee, educate and inspire a small, high-performing team, creating a strong culture through clear direction, accountability, and genuine care.
- Drive sales and promotional initiatives, with a sharp focus on KPIs, performance, and conversion.
- Curate the in-store environment, maintaining visual merchandising standards that reflect the brand's aesthetic.
- Oversee day-to-day store operations, including rostering, inventory management, stocktakes, and Shopify POS.
- Build and grow our loyal client base.
- Act as a brand ambassador within the Ponsonby community, representing Tuesday Label with integrity, professionalism, and elegance.
- An experienced retail manager, or someone ready to take the next step, ideally with a background in fashion retail.
- A natural relationship builder who attracts and retains clientele through genuine connection and elevated service.
- Someone who is confident with numbers; you understand the metrics that matter and know how to drive results.
- A people-focused leader who invests in team culture with the same intention applied to building a client book.
- Polished, professional, and genuinely passionate about fashion and the Tuesday Label brand.
- Organised, proactive, and self-directed. You don’t need to be micromanaged, and you appreciate the same respect in return.
