About the role
Air Action Maintenance Ltd is seeking a qualified HVAC+R technician to join our Auckland based team and be part of a company that values quality workmanship and great customer service.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation services for commercial and high end residential heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

What you'll be doing- Carry out scheduled and reactive jobs on a wide range of HVAC+R systems
- Diagnose and complete repairs efficiently
- Install new HVAC+R systems and components
- Liaise directly with customers to understand their needs and provide technical solutions
- Completing job documentation and maintain accurate service records
- Perform after hours / on call work as part of a rotating roster
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- A qualified electrician or refrigeration/air conditioning technician with a minimum of 3 years' NZ HVAC experience
- Certification at Level 4 (trade) preferred in either HVAC+R or Electrical
- Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC+R systems and electrical principles
- Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of HVAC+R equipment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills
- Commitment to safety and quality standards and policies
- New Zealand residency or a valid work visa
- A clean New Zealand driver's licence
