If you are self-motivated, can work autonomously and have an eye for detail, then join PGG Wrightson, Fruitfed Supplies as a Crop Monitoring Scout working at our clients' sites monitoring crops for pests and diseases.

Fixed-term role: September 2025 - April 2026

24 hours per week, 8 hours a day, Monday to Wednesday.

Fruitfed Supplies have been woven into the horticultural industry for more than 100 years. We have been working alongside growers, industry organisations and suppliers to deliver reliable advice and solutions for a range of crops. Our focus is on supporting growers around New Zealand to produce quality, profitable crops by helping them access the right products, services, and advice.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • A full, current, and clean NZ driver's licence and your own reliable transport - mileage will be reimbursed!
  • No prior experience needed! If you are committed to working, have a great work ethic, and can follow instructions then we will provide you all the necessary training
  • Good physical fitness as this is an active role where you will be on your feet walking and bending throughout the day
  • The ability to work public holidays
  • A willingness to help out in our Retail store if you are unable to access clients' site to complete crop monitoring
  • Avo Green certification is a bonus, however, training can be provided.
