The Role
We are seeking Construction Labourers to join our team on a permanent basis. You’ll be hands-on in building reservoirs, working with steel structures, and supporting our site foremen to deliver leak-free, high-quality projects.This role involves physical labour, operating tools and machinery, erecting formwork and tank walls, and maintaining a professional standard on-site.

Key Responsibilities- Assist site foreman to complete tasks to a high standard and on time
- Erect bolted steel tanks using hand and power tools
- Operate plant and machinery as required
- Maintain tools, equipment, and PPE in clean, tidy condition
- Work methodically, ensuring tasks are completed correctly and efficiently
- Uphold Reliant Solutions’ Health & Safety standards at all times
- Attend daily prestart and weekly toolbox meetings
- Report hazards, non-compliance, or near misses promptly
- Deliver quality workmanship – Do it once, do it right
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction
- Ideally certified in EWP and Working at Heights
- Permanent residency in New Zealand
- Based in Invercargill or Christchurch
- Willingness to travel and work away from home (two-week roster cycle)
- Strong work ethic, initiative, punctuality, and teamwork
- Integrity, communication skills, and problem-solving ability
- Organised, cost-conscious, and willing to go the extra mile

- Minimum 40 hours/week (typically 10-hour days)
