Breast Associates is a Specialist practice of Surgeons and Physicians, providing the highest standard in complete breast care.
We require a part time Medical Receptionist / Administrator (approximately 30-34 hours per week, days and hours to be negotiated) to join our specialised team in Remuera.
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Reception / Administration role. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently. You will have the ability to interact with clients and clinicians in a professional manner.You will have confident computer skills and be able to pick up new systems quickly.
Key responsibilities will include:- Co-ordinating services, prioritising work flows and managing patient expectations
- Managing bookings, account payments, referrals and appointment management
- Professionally responding to patient requests and phone calls
- Administration tasks, including preparing clinic information for specialists, claiming payments from insurers, and sending patient recalls
- Accurate data entry and maintenance of patient records
- Other general medical reception and administration duties
- Adhere to practice policies and procedures
As this is a front line role you will need to have excellent communication skills, be confident and professionally presented. You will enjoy liaising with clients both in person and over the phone.
The ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage but not essential.
