Agricultural Machinery Operator

We are looking for an Agricultural Machinery Operator to fill the Seasonal Fixed-Term position from August 2025 through until March 2026.

Rural Fields is a professional agricultural contracting business based in Darfield, Canterbury that provides a wide range of cultivation and drilling services. Operating a modern fleet of John Deere tractors and implements we deliver a high quality service to a client base of dairy, arable, sheep, beef, deer, and horticultural based business.

3 years previous agricultural contracting or crop farming experience is essential
Previous experience operating cultivation and/or drilling equipment
Hold a valid drivers license (Full Class 1 or Class 2, WTR)
Carry out daily maintenance of tractors and implements
Long hours and weekend work will be required during busy periods
Be able to maintain a clean and tidy tractor

We offer 30 hours minimum work per week.
