The Opportunity
We need a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our passionate team on a casual basis. Based inside Moore Wilson’s Porirua store, our retail space showcases a premium selection of kaimoana and connects customers to the people, places, and values behind every product.
What You’ll Do
As part of our close-knit team, you’ll help bring Moana’s vision to life by:- Delivering warm, professional, and efficient customer service
- Creating eye-catching displays that make our kaimoana irresistible
- Sharing your genuine interest in seafood and our sustainability story
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who:- Loves working with people and thrives in a customer-facing role
- Has great time management and communication skills
- Is confident with basic math and enjoys being hands-on
- Brings a “can-do” attitude and eagerness to learn
Previous retail or customer service experience is essential. If you’re enthusiastic and ready to dive in, we’ll support you every step of the way.
Additional Info
This is a casual role with no guaranteed hours, offering flexibility and variety. You’ll report to our Retail Manager and be part of a team that values authenticity, sustainability, and connection.
