About Our Role:
- Cantabria Lifecare & Village, located in Rotorua
- Permanent full-time (32 or more hours per week)
- Monday to Friday shifts
We're seeking someone with a positive, can-do attitude who understands the importance of a clean and tidy environment, is great with people, and takes pride in their work. You'll be both hands-on, with practical building and maintenance skills, as well as the organizational abilities to manage workloads, prioritize tasks.
As Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for the general upkeep of the care home, including preventative maintenance, building repairs, and maintaining the building's exterior and grounds. You will also work closely with the Care Home Manager to ensure the highest level of safety for our residents.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Experience with general maintenance, painting, plumbing, minor carpentry, is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
- Ability to build good rapport with others and show empathy.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- A genuine love for helping people, with excellent customer service skills, and a friendly and positive attitude.
- Experience delivering to a quality standard.
- A full clean driver's license.
