Front of House
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time (Flexible)
We are a well-established car rental company in Queenstown and are currently seeking a Front Desk / Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is customer-focused, reliable, and willing to support daily operations when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcoming customers and assisting with vehicle pick-up and drop-off proceduresManaging reservations, payments, and basic administrative tasks
Explaining rental terms, insurance options, and vehicle features clearly and professionally
Conducting basic vehicle checks (interior/exterior condition)
Assisting with light vehicle cleaning or washing when required, especially during busy periods
Supporting daily front desk and yard operations as needed
Handling customer enquiries in person, by phone, and via email
About You:
Strong customer service and communication skillsApplicants must hold a valid and legally recognised driver licence (New Zealand or overseas licence with an approved translation) and have access to a car.
Reliable, flexible, and willing to assist across different tasks
Comfortable with hands-on work when required
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills
Availability to work weekends or public holidays if needed
Preferred (but not essential):
Experience in customer service, hospitality, tourism, or car rentalBasic knowledge of vehicles or willingness to learn
Understanding of or interest in Asian cultures
Ability to speak an Asian language (e.g. Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese) is an advantage
